2011 Infiniti G37 Convertible
It’s not five minutes since Infiniti introduced the G37 – a 3-Series size car – to the UK and Europe, but already they’re tweaking and titivating to make it more appealing. The Infiniti G37 range consists of three body styles – saloon, coupe and convertible – and all three get the 3.7 litre V6 and a seven-speed auto ‘box with paddle-shift as standard, with new alloys and paint colours offered across the range. The Infiniti G Saloon comes in four flavours – G37, G37x GT, G37 x GT Premium and G37 S Premium.
Land Rover’s entire Paris show stand is dominated by Range Rover Evoques. The baby Rangie isn’t due to land in showrooms until summer 2011, but the French show is the first public launch of the Evoque, né LRX. The car was first shown at a VIP event in Kensington Palace, London in summer 2010, but now we know the full spec on the Evoque.
The rumour on the grapevine this morning is that Radio 2 man and Ferrari nut, Chris Evans, has traded a Ferrari to buy a McLaren F1
Chris Evans is known for many things; Radio 2 presenter, doting dad, one-time enfant terrible of TV, creator of CarFest and, perhaps most of all, the most high-profile collector of classic Ferraris in the UK. But the word on the grapevine this morning is that Chris has chopped in a Ferrari – and we don’t know which of his Ferraris – to buy one of the 64 McLaren F1 supercars in existence. If he has, and we’re digging for confirmation, then he’s obviously been listening to the advice a number of experts at the top end of the classic car world who believe the ‘next’ Ferrari 250 GTO (a car Chris owns) will be the McLaren F1.
